Somali community’s financial and self-sufficiency and sustainability. Under these programs are: Employment-focused initiatives, primarily revolving on various employment services such as job search, job placement, and retention. Supportive services initiative dealing with personal improvement advocacies such as housing assistance programs, household furniture from bridging, bus passes, and children schooling programs. Various professional trainings are available to the staff and volunteers of Somali Multi Service. Personal and skills development trainings are given to the staff depending on the program activity that will be assigned to them. Leadership training will also be rendered. Trainings are determined based on the needs and requirements of the programs and initiatives to be handled by the staff.
